Learning to love the grind!


This is what one week back at the gym looks like.


No surprise that it's been a tough week - the expected pains and frustrations have been compounded by jet lag. No wonder people call it the grind.


But the surprising thing is that I am actually enjoying it! The waves of work out nausea and exhaustion have been almost totally cancelled out by the joy of being back in the gym. During my time away I'd forgotten how happy time with my boxing buddies makes me and how much pride I get in successfully pushing through a difficult session.


This week I have learnt how fortunate I am to have found a sport that I love doing so much and I've learnt how privileged I am to be surrounded by people who inspire me. I'm learning to love 'the grind'!
